Homoeopathy

Homoeopathy treats the body as a whole.

Your body really wants to be healthy and will always try to heal itself.

Things go wrong when the body encounters problems it can’t heal. It then throws out symptoms to make you aware that things are not right.

Sometimes symptoms thrown out by your body are suppressed. An example of this suppression is on the skin. The body throws out symptoms to the skin and we put steroidal or other creams onto the skin to get rid of the symptoms.

When this happens, your body has to generate other symptoms and so it goes on.

Homoeopathy looks at the reason for the symptoms and treats that, which allows your body to heal itself.

One of the major tenets of homoepathy is “Like treats like”. For example, when you peel an onion you often get burning eyes or runny and burning eyes. This symptom is also often associated with hay fever and one of the hay fever remedies is called Allium Cepa, which is made from onion.
